Sustainability Tip: September's Harvest of the Month is Peppers Organic |
Sip Local with Miller Farm
We’re excited to announce that we have switched to local and organic Miller Farm half and half -wide! By making this change, we’re not only enhancing your coffee experience but also supporting local farms and reducing our environmental impact. We signed the Northeast Organic Family Farm Partnership in 2022, committing to year-over-year growth in our organic dairy spending; Miller Farm is one of the participating farms part of the initiative.
Miller Farm, an organic dairy farm and processor located in Vernon, VT, has been family-run since 1916. Their cows are grass-fed and have been certified organic since 2009, contributing to healthier, environmentally friendly farming. The farm’s long-standing commitment to community and organic standards means you're not just supporting a local business with every sip, but also a sustainable and eco-conscious agricultural model.
Supporting local and organic farms like Miller Farm helps:
-
Strengthen our Vermont economy
-
Improve animal health and welfare
-
Build healthy soils through carbon sequestration
-
Minimize harmful chemicals and fertilizers
Next time you grab your coffee, know that your creamer choice is helping make a difference!
