Academic Interests
My research focuses on optimizing functional outcomes in adults aging with chronic disease, including adults living with and beyond cancer. I am currently studying opportunities to expand access to exercise for men living with prostate cancer. I also use federally funded, publicly available data to examine predictors of fall risk and factors associated with physical activity participation such as motivating factors, health professional advising, and rural residence in people living with and beyond cancer.
