Academic Interests
Dr. Kolb is a neuromuscular neurologist. He cares for many patients with neurologic complications of both immunotherapy and traditional chemotherapy. Dr. Kolb’s research program is focused on understanding the risk factors for chemotherapy induced peripheral neuropathy (CIPN) and evaluating new ways of preventing and treating it in cancer survivors. While he has many active CIPN projects, his main focus is running a large multisite national clinical trial funded by an R01 from NCI to examine a new care model for CIPN.
