Academic Interests
I support cancer research through the Bioinformatics Shared Resource (BSR/VIGR), providing consultation and analysis in spatial transcriptomics, epigenetics, transcriptomics, and whole-genome sequencing. My primary role is to support investigators in the Cancer Center by guiding experimental design, aiding in NGS data interpretation, and generating results for publications and/or grant submissions. I also advance workforce development by leading bioinformatics training workshops and undergraduate- and graduate-level courses, that prepare the next generation of cancer researchers to learn and apply bioinformatic methods in their work.
