Academic Interests
My work has focused on the study of biomarkers and risk factors for stroke and cognitive decline, as well as the association of cancer treatment on cognitive functioning. I serve as a leader in the gastrointestinal cancer group as a local principal investigator of national clinical trials and enrolling cancer center patients on both home-grown and national trials influencing the future of cancer treatments and outcomes. I have a special interest in quality of life and supportive care on cancer treatment.
