UVM Cancer Center 2025 Summer Research Fellowship Mentor Interest Form

If you are interested in being a mentor for the UVM Cancer Center Summer Research Fellowship but do not have a student identified, please complete this form. We will direct students seeking a mentor to a list of mentors curated from the interest form. Students will then reach out to PIs directly to discuss a summer fellowship opportunity. UVM Cancer Center members will select their own summer research student.

If you already have a student identified to work with you next summer, you do not need to fill out this form.

To become a UVM Cancer Center Summer Research Fellow, students will need to submit a Summer Research Fellowship Application. Applications will be available in January. Mentors are required to submit a Statement of Support for their student as part of the student application and must state clearly how they will support their fellow throughout the mentorship experience. Roughly 20 applications are accepted each year.
